Dr. Michael Gordon of Gordon Schanzlin New Vision Institute Institute recently returned from Bogota Columbia where he completed training in LASIK Xtra, a procedure to provide greater strength and stability to the cornea during and after a LASIK procedure. Dr. Gordon will participate in an anticipated US Clinical trial of the technology from Avedro, Inc., a privately held medical device and pharmaceutical company involved in the science of corneal cross-linking.
