Dr. Lori Bende is a seasoned optometrist with more than 25 years of experience providing personalized, patient-centered eye care in the San Diego area. Known for her expertise in specialty contact lenses and a thoughtful, approachable style, she offers comprehensive vision services to patients of all ages. Before joining Gordon Schanzlin New Vision Institute, Dr. Bende led her own successful practice for nearly two decades and has remained active in the region’s optometric community through leadership, volunteer work, and clinical education.
A longtime member of the La Jolla Golden Triangle Rotary Club and an active volunteer for local scouting organizations, Dr. Bende is deeply connected to the San Diego community. Outside the office, she enjoys traveling, exploring tiki culture, and spending time with her twins.
